At the World Blood Donor Day, June 14^th, the team of Ceres Management Services Bulgaria and two properties that they are managing - shopping mall Park Center Sofia and business complex Sofia Airport Center (SAC) – received recognition with regards of the campaigns that are regularly held on site of the two projects.

The official ceremony was held by Bulgarian Red Cross and The National Center of Transfusion Hematology, where were presented awards to individuals and organizations for supporting the cause of blood donation and take active part in a campaigns for rising social awareness of this generous gesture.

During the years, at Park Center and at SAC were held many blood donation campaigns that attracted hundreds of people to participate.

Back in 2012 the blood donation campaigns started at Park Center (at that time the project was named City Center Sofia). The idea came during a conversation with that time director of The National Center of Transfusion Hematology, who mentioned that people don't like to go to a hospital to donate blood. But he saw a campaign in Dubai in a shopping center that was very successful. So the management team of the shopping center decided to adopt the idea and to see how it will be accepted by the visitors of the mall. And since then people are regularly looking for that blood donation campaigns, where they can be “Hero for someone” and save live.

The same idea was developed in SAC in 2014 - people were more motivated to participate in such campaigns, while on their working places, instead to plan visit to a hospital. Nowadays, the convenience is most important and doing good is contagious, in a positive way, of course. Very often visitors at Park Center and people that work in SAC are initiators of that kind of campaigns.
