Donate blood – save life!

Take part in the blood donation on March 28-29 at 10:00 - 14:00 organized by HBO Bulgaria in partnership with the Bulgarian Red Cross, the National Center for Transfusion Hematology (NCPH) and Park Center Sofia.

The "BLEED FOR THE THRONE" initiative is international and appeals to the fans of the series GAME OF THRONES around the world to celebrate the final season of the show by showing their dedication by taking part in this humane action.

All blood donor candidates will be encouraged for their willingness. Those who successfully donate blood will receive a T-shirt "BLEED FOR THE THRONE" - a testimony of their dedication.

To be a blood donor, it's important to be in generally good health, be between 18 and 65 years old and weigh over 50 kg. To be prepared for blood donation, it is necessary to not take any medication 48 hours before donating, be relaxed and be hydrated by drinking fluids. It is also important to remember that blood donation is not made if the donor is hungry. Bring your ID card.

The process takes only 30 minutes, including filling in a questionnaire, an examination (consultation) by a  doctor, and taking a few drops of blood from the finger for determinating the blood group and the hemoglobin level. If you do not have contraindications, you can donate 450 ml. blood.
